I received the Certificate of Commendation  for Outstanding Work for the 7th Annual Exhibition of New York State High School Arts, held in the Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York in 1979 for this  very pensive teenage self portrait entitled, "Is That Me". The media is oil chiarascuro.

Recently, I was part of a team who received the award "Best Ad Campaign" by the Association of Alternative Newspapers for our advertising campaign for Morgan's Coffee and Tea in Monterey, California.
